TEHRAN – The head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways (RAI) has emphasized the increase of academic interaction between Iran and Spain, and invited the technical experts of the Spanish railway field to transfer experience for launching high-speed trains in Iran.

Making the remarks in a meeting with Spain’s Ambassador to Tehran Antonio Sánchez-Benedito, Jabar-Ali Zakeri referred to the long-standing cooperation and good interaction of the railways of the two countries, as well as the brilliant records of the Spanish ambassador, including receiving the national emblem of "Madagascar", and said: “The resume of the Spanish ambassador show that with his good experience, he can take very good steps regarding the expansion of technical and executive cooperation between the two countries of Iran and Spain.”
